We are a multidisciplinary periodontics, orthodontics and general dentistry clinic with a patient-centred approach to care. Our team works closely across specialties, which means our hygienists see a broad range of cases, from routine prevention to complex periodontal and orthodontic patients. We're looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who wants to deliver high-quality hygiene care and grow professionally, including opportunities to get involved in clinical research.

What You'll Do

- Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including periodontal assessment and charting, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and polishing.
- Care for orthodontic patients, supporting oral hygiene before, during and after treatment.
- Educate patients on home care and preventive strategies tailored to their periodontal and orthodontic needs.
- Take digital radiographs following protected, patient-centred practices.
- Review medical histories and contribute to personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the periodontist, orthodontist and general dentists.
- Maintain accurate, thorough clinical records in ClearDent.
- Participate, if interested, in clinical research projects, including data collection and patient follow-up.
- Help create a warm, comfortable experience for every patient.

What We're Looking For

- Active registration as a Dental Hygienist with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
- Local anesthesia certification is an asset.
- Clinical experience in dental hygiene; experience in periodontics, orthodontics or general practice is an asset. New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with ClearDent is highly desirable.
- Interest in evidence-based care and research is an asset.
- Additional languages are a plus for communicating with our diverse patient population.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, patient-first attitude.

Pay: $55.00-$68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
