Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Coating Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing concrete surfaces and installing high-performance floor coating systems, including epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurethane, and Flexstone flooring systems. This position requires experience with concrete surface preparation, crack repair, coating application, and working safely with specialized equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

- Operate concrete grinders, shot blasters, hand grinders, and dust collection equipment.
- Prepare concrete surfaces to manufacturer specifications.
- Identify and repair cracks, spalls, joints, and surface imperfections.
- Perform concrete patching, crack injection, and skim coating as required.
- Ensure surfaces meet profile and moisture requirements prior to coating installation.
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic, and specialty coating systems.
- Install decorative and protective flooring systems including Flexstone products.
- Apply primers, base coats, broadcast media, and topcoats.
- Maintain proper mixing ratios and application procedures according to manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor environmental conditions to ensure proper product performance and curing.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.




- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Safely handle chemicals, coatings, solvents, and equipment.
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

- Experience installing epoxy, resinous, or decorative flooring systems.
- Experience operating concrete grinders and surface preparation equipment.
- Knowledge of crack repair, concrete patching, and surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Solid attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends as required.

Preferred

- 2+ years of experience in resinous flooring or concrete coatings.
- Experience with Flexstone systems.
- Forklift, aerial work platform, or fall protection certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience reading project specifications and manufacturer technical data sheets.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
