Capital Subaru is hiring a First-Year Automotive Apprentice Technician. The primary function of this position is to inspect, diagnose, repair, and service the mechanical and electronic systems and components of vehicles serviced and owned by Capital Subaru.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform recalls, basic vehicle diagnostics, and repairs or replacements of automotive components, including wheel bearings, fuel, braking, steering, suspension, cooling, and climate control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor engine performance issues.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.
- Use hand tools, specialized automotive equipment, and diagnostic tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate vehicle lifts and other equipment required for assigned work.
- Conduct test drives before and after repairs to verify vehicle performance and serviceability.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, repair manuals, and service instructions.
- Communicate completed repairs, general vehicle conditions, and recommended future maintenance to customers.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.

- Reliable, with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

- Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.




- Ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate of graduation or enrollment in an Apprenticeship Program at a recognized technical training institute.
- Must be a first year apprentice.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and Driver's Abstract is required.
- Record of Conduct required.

Hours of Work: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Pay: From $26.30 per hour
