The District Service Manager – Alberta is responsible for the overall management, performance, and development of ANT’s service operations across Alberta, with Calgary as the primary base.

This position functions at a level above a traditional Branch Service Manager. The successful candidate will oversee service activities in both Calgary and Edmonton, establish consistent service procedures, manage technician performance, coordinate major repairs, control service costs, and work closely with Rental, Sales, Parts, Operations, and Management.

The District Service Manager will spend approximately 75% of their working time in Calgary and 25% travelling to the Edmonton branch, with additional travel to customer sites, job sites, suppliers, manufacturers, or other locations when required.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage ANT’s service operations across the Calgary and Edmonton branches.
- Manage, coach, and develop technicians and service staff to maintain high productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment readiness for ANT’s rental and sales fleet.
- Prioritize repairs and service work based on safety, equipment utilization, customer requirements, and business needs.
- Monitor service performance, equipment downtime, repair turnaround time, labour productivity, and service costs.




- Review and approve major repair requirements and coordinate with external vendors and manufacturers when required.
- Manage warranty claims and technical support with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Work closely with Rental, Sales, Parts, and Operations to ensure equipment is available and ready for customers.
- Establish and maintain consistent service procedures, documentation, and standards across both Alberta branches.
- Conduct regular visits to the Edmonton branch, approximately 25% of the time, to oversee service operations, support technicians, and address operational needs.
- Ensure all service activities comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, control repair costs, and support ANT’s continued growth in Alberta.

Requirements:

- Heavy Duty Mechanic, Certified Red Seal Mechanic is an asset.
- Must have at least 5-year hands on experience of Aerial Platform Equipment, Generator, pumps, diesel engine equipment background preferred.
- Ability to work constructively under pressure.
- Management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record, Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License a strong asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
