Overview

We are seeking a dependable Shop Helper to support daily operations in a machine shop. This hands-on role assists with material handling, basic assembly, shop organization, and keeping work areas clean and protected. It’s a good fit for someone interested in manufacturing who is comfortable learning practical skills and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Assist machinists and other shop team members with day-to-day tasks.
- Move, stage, and organize materials, parts, and supplies throughout the shop.
- Support basic assembly work and prepare components for production.
- Use hand tools and power tools as directed and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Help maintain clean, orderly work areas and return tools and materials to their proper locations.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and moving inventory as needed.
- Follow shop safety practices and promptly report equipment, material, or workplace concerns.
- Take on other general shop support duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
