We are seeking a skilled finish carpenter for steady, year-round work on residential new builds.

Duties

- Complete finish carpentry, including trim, doors, cabinetry, and detailed finishing work.
- Read plans and accurately measure, cut, fit, and install materials.
- Assist with framing and related construction tasks as needed.
- Maintain quality workmanship and a safe, organized job site.
- Install cabinets, flooring, and tile; perform assembly and related installation work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to plan work and verify measurements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support construction, renovation, and restoration projects, including drywall repair, construction painting, caulking, and siding work.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and roofing tasks as project requirements allow.
- Perform basic handyman work and coordinate with plumbing and electrical trades when needed.
- Help estimate materials and labor by reviewing project plans, measurements, and site conditions.
- Maintain an organized work area, protect finished surfaces, and follow job-site safety procedures.
- Lift and move materials as needed, including heavy lifting, while using protected handling practices.

Requirements

- Minimum 15 years of finish carpentry experience.




- Demonstrated carpentry and woodworking skills, with construction experience in residential or commercial settings.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and accurately measure, cut, fit, and install materials.
- Experience with cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, drywall, caulking, and construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with restoration, concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, and siding is an asset.
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools, and construction estimating experience are desirable.
- Basic plumbing or electrical experience is helpful for coordinating related work and completing minor tasks within the role’s scope.
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing, and heavy lifting, while following safe work practices.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a project team.
- Some background in framing.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
