Junior / Entry-Level IT Project ManagerJob Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our growing Information Technology team. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO, internal IT, software developers, software testers, and business stakeholders to help plan, execute, and track technology initiatives.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional or recent graduate looking to build a career in technology project management in a collaborative, rapid-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Support & Coordination: Assist senior staff with day-to-day coordination of tech deployments, software updates, and infrastructure projects.
- Schedule & Task Tracking: Maintain project timelines, update task boards Jira and Redmine), and keep deliverables on schedule.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, status reports, and project charters.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a central point of contact between IT staff, retail stores, warehouses and marketing staff.
- Meeting Facilitation: Schedule, organize, and help facilitate daily stand-ups, project kickoff meetings, and progress check-ins.
- Risk & Issue Tracking: Help identify potential project risks or bottlenecks early and promptly escalate them to project leaders.
- Quality Assurance Support: Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and log post-deployment feedback or bug reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management,



or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in an IT support, project coordination, administrative, or junior tech role (internships count!).
- Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of IT concepts (software development lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, networking, or hardware deployment).
- Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and productivity suites (Google Workspace / MS Office 365).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical partners.
- Organization & Adaptability: Exceptional time-management skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

- Introductory project management certifications (CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management, Google Project Management Certificate, or Scrum Master basics).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies vs. traditional Waterfall frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of IT service management frameworks (such as ITIL).
- Working with remote local/national/international teams.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
