Long-Haul Truck Driver

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000–$72,000 per year OR $0.60–$0.70 per mile, depending on the agreed compensation structure
Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. Our operations include freight transportation between Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, with round-trip and return-load opportunities available.

The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with applicable transportation regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely on long-haul routes between Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
- Transport freight and complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
- Handle round-trip routes and return loads as assigned.
- Conduct and document required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Comply with applicable traffic laws, hours-of-service requirements, and commercial vehicle safety regulations.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
- Maintain accurate mileage records, electronic logs, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route changes.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, and incidents promptly.




- Maintain company equipment in safe operating condition.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Valid AZ or Class 1 driver's licence is required.
- Minimum 6 month of commercial truck driving experience.
- Current driver's abstract required.
- Acceptable driving record and commitment to secure driving practices.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle safety procedures and cargo securement.
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible schedules.
- Reliability, professionalism, and good communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
