THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to provide accounting and financial analysis support across a diverse real estate portfolio. This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a professional who can quickly add value, strengthen financial processes, and deliver meaningful insights to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting activities for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties
Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end reporting requirements
Complete CAM and operating cost recoveries and reconciliations
Process tenant billings, lease amendments, adjustments, and recoveries
Maintain accurate financial records and data within Yardi
Partner with property management and operational teams to resolve discrepancies and support decision-making
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accounting processes and controls

You are a detail-oriented finance and accounting professional with experience supporting real estate operations and multiple property portfolios. You possess strong analytical skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting and valuable business insights. Your ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy sets you apart.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in a Property Accountant, Sr. Financial Analyst, or similar real estate accounting role
Advanced proficiency with Yardi, preferably Yardi Voyager
Experience supporting both residential and commercial property portfolios
Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid analytical capabilities
