THE OPPORTUNITY:

Job Type:

Full-Time, Permanent (up to 40 hours/per week)

Shift Details:

Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Compensation Range:

$22.89 - $28.50/hour *Commensurate with experience

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training. It is not typical for the starting salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors.

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM:

- Previous experience related to Inside Sales, preferably in a wholesale environment
- Previous warehouse/forklift experience, preferred
- Previous experience with Mincron/AS400 software
- Working knowledge of plumbing and/or heating supply
- Customer-focused, good interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Positive mathematical knowledge
- Ability to produce precise work under pressure
- Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides service to walk-in customers.
- Receives sales orders from customers, in-person, by phone, email and/or via sales representative. Enters all information required for order picking into the system.
- Responds to customer inquiries and supplies them with relevant information, providing alternatives and suggestions where appropriate.
- Follows-up with customers for additional details and/or to give them the availability of special products and/or replacements.
- Contacts suppliers for pricing and availability of special products as required.
- Provides small quotes for customers using the computer system as needed.
- Make regular phone calls to specific customers when required.




- Transcribes all non-stock material for the purchasing dept. to order the material.
- Follows-up on direct shipments from suppliers to customers to ensure billing to customer is timely.
- Executes all other duties required by the position and by the immediate supervisor.
