Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Lawyer to join our firm as a partner to represent clients who have suffered injuries in a car accidents, slip and fall accidents due to another party’s negligence. This role involves guiding clients through each stage of their claims, developing case strategies, and pursuing fair resolutions through negotiation or litigation. The successful candidate will bring sound legal judgment, strong client communication, and a commitment to thorough, ethical advocacy.

Responsibilities

- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from the begining of the case through settlement or trial.
- Assess claims, explain legal options, and provide clear updates throughout the case.
- Investigate incidents and gather, review, and organize evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and expert opinions.
- Conduct legal research using resources such as LexisNexis and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
- Use strong legal drafting and writing skills to develop persuasive case materials and correspondence.




- Apply effective negotiation strategies to pursue appropriate settlements and advise clients on proposed resolutions.
- Coordinate with legal staff, opposing counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses while maintaining accurate case files.
- Meet court deadlines and comply with professional conduct rules and applicable legal procedures.

Requirements

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the state bar in the jurisdiction where the role is based.
- Experience handling personal injury cases, including case investigation, discovery, negotiation, and litigation 2-5 years of experiance is preferrable.
- Demonstrated legal research, writing, and legal drafting abilities.
- Familiarity with LexisNexis or comparable legal research platforms.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and client-service skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound professional judgment.

Pay: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
