My Gym Children's Fitness Center, Richmond location, has part-time teaching positions available(20-25 hours per week).

We look for enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children. A background working with youngsters and/or experience in dance, drama, movement, sports, music, child psychology, kinesiology or early childhood development is definitely a plus!

- This position will start with part-time, has potential to be promoted as a full-timer with extended health insurance, holiday pay and paid personal days.

Responsibilities:

- Teach and assist high quality gym classes & birthday parties & camps.
- Prepare teaching through previewing curriculum, reviewing class and practicing spotting skills.
- Attend Weekly Staff Meeting as required, every Monday afternoon 12:00-4:00 pm.




- Make sure all shift duties are done according to the shift checking list.
- On-shift client registration & administrative work.
- Assist manager with office organization, gym supply inventory check, marketing execution and customer service.
- Added responsibilities to be discussed and agreed upon
- Shift schedule: 9:00 am-1:00 pm morning shift, 3:00-7:00 pm evening shift, or full day shift with 2 hours break between 1:00-3:00 pm.

My Gym provides weekly curriculum with detailed instructions and trainings, teachers focus on delivering programs and modify program ingredients based on students' performance as needed.
