Job Summary

As a Driver’s Helper, you’ll support deliveries by preparing, moving, and handling items safely, assisting the driver, and providing courteous customer service. This hands-on role suits someone who communicates clearly, works well with others, and takes care when handling heavy loads.

Responsibilities

- Help load, unload, move, and organize items at the warehouse and delivery locations, using protected handling practices.
- Assist the driver with delivery stops, route-related tasks, and clear communication about items and customer needs.
- Operate a forklift when appropriate and authorized, following workplace safety procedures.
- Treat customers respectfully, confirm delivery details, and keep colleagues informed of progress or issues.

Skills

Required: Practical moving and heavy-lifting capabilities, clear communication, and a safety-conscious approach are important for supporting loading, unloading, and delivery work. Preferred: Customer service skills, warehouse experience, forklift experience, and familiarity with commercial driving can help you contribute confidently and support an efficient delivery team.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
