TEMPORARY SEASONAL WORK - DISTILLERY WINTER VILLAGE

We are seeking friendly and efficient Customer Service, Servers, Cashiers and Baristas to join our team from Nov 1 2026 to January 4 2027. As the Distillery District WINTER VILLAGE begins, we will be looking to add to our team at SWEETIE PIE. The hours will range from Part Time to Full Time.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a rapid-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The position involves handling food and beverages safely while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
- Handle cash transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas




- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, including light snack or pastry service
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is required
- Proficiency with POS systems,
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform serving, food preparation, and cashiering duties confidently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time
