Job Summary:

The Senior Software Developer - Full Stack is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise platform capabilities across multiple layers including user-interface, service, API, workflow, integration, and data-access. This role involves building reusable platform services to support various government programs and implementing service-specific connections for registries, permitting, payments, notifications, and identity management. The position requires collaboration with architects, product managers, UX designers, security teams, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions while providing technical leadership and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop frontend, backend, API, integration, workflow, middleware, and data-access components using approved patterns and standards.
- Build and maintain Java-based microservices, REST APIs, RESTful web services, and Internet-ready applications.
- Develop and maintain database objects, queries, data transformations, and integration components using relational or hierarchical databases.
- Implement security gateways and protocols including JSON Web Tokens, OAuth 2.0, SSL certificates, and identity integration.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, API, database, and UI tests.
- Participate in design walkthroughs, code reviews, impact assessments, estimation, backlog refinement, sprint and release planning.
- Review and modify build, configuration, deployment scripts; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during all phases of development and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, UX designers, QA, DevOps, and security specialists.
- Provide post-implementation support,



resolve production issues, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive user, system, technical, deployment, and support documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality oversight while adapting to changing priorities and meeting delivery commitments.

Required Skills:
- Minimum ten years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications or equivalent senior development experience.
- Extensive hands-on Java development experience with Oracle, SQL, or comparable relational databases.
- Proficient in designing and developing REST APIs, RESTful web services, and microservice architectures.
- Experience with security gateways and protocols such as JSON Web Tokens, OAuth 2.0, SSL certificates, and secure communications.
- Robust knowledge of Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, design patterns, refactoring, clean code, and automated testing.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for source control, build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to translate technical specifications into secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
