Job Summary:

The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform capabilities across multiple layers including user-interface, service, API, workflow, integration, and data-access. This role involves building reusable platform services supporting various government programs, implementing service-specific connections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. The developer provides technical leadership and mentorship while ensuring platform stability and continuous improvement through frequent releases.

Responsibilities:

- Translate approved technical specifications into secure, tested, and maintainable enterprise applications.
- Design and develop frontend, backend, APIs, integration, workflow, middleware, and data-access layers following approved standards.
- Build and maintain Java-based microservices, REST APIs, and reusable platform services.
- Develop and maintain database objects, queries, data transformations, and integration components.
- Implement security gateways and protocols including identity, access, token, and secure communications.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, API, database, and UI tests.
- Participate in design walkthroughs, code reviews, impact assessments, and sprint planning.
- Review and modify build, configuration, installation, and deployment scripts.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during development, deployment, and operation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, UX designers, testers, DevOps, security specialists, and other IT professionals.




- Provide post-implementation support and improve application performance and maintainability.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including user, system, technical, deployment, and support materials.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and quality oversight to meet delivery commitments.

Required Skills:
- Minimum ten years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications or equivalent senior development experience.
- Extensive hands-on Java development experience with Oracle, SQL, or comparable relational databases.
- Proficient in designing and developing REST APIs and RESTful web services.
- Experience with microservice architecture and applying core architecture principles.
- Strong knowledge of security gateways and protocols including JSON Web Tokens, OAuth 2.0, SSL certificates, and secure communications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, structured development methods, object-oriented design, design patterns, clean code, and automated testing.
- Proficient with Azure DevOps or comparable tools for source control, build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical databases, SQL tuning, middleware, gateways, and enterprise integrations.
