Job Summary:

The Senior UX Designer leads user-centred and service design for enterprise platform features and government services, ensuring Ontario businesses have access to consistent, intuitive, inclusive, and accessible digital experiences. This role involves planning and conducting user research, creating journey maps, service blueprints, and detailed interaction designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into practical, reusable design solutions that comply with accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:

- Lead user research, service design, interaction design, and validation activities for complex transactional services.
- Develop personas, journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
- Design consistent and accessible experiences across enterprise platform capabilities and onboarded government services.
- Facilitate co-design workshops, design reviews, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct usability and accessibility evaluations, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Maintain traceability between user needs, business requirements, and design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support developers and testers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
- Contribute reusable patterns, standards, and components to the enterprise platform design system.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience leading design for complex transactional digital services.
- Expertise in developing journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications.
- Solid knowledge of AODA and WCAG accessibility standards and their application in design.
- Experience conducting user research,



usability testing, synthesis, and design validation with diverse user groups.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, business analysts, developers, architects, accessibility specialists, and testers.

- Experience applying enterprise design systems and reusable interaction patterns.
- Skilled in designing responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills for engaging stakeholders and team members.
