Overview

Our client, a premier national advisory and qualified services firm achieving 30% annual growth, is seeking a talented Senior Manager, Tax on a 100% full-time remote basis from anywhere in Canada. This role is designed for an experienced, self-motivated tax leader who thrives in a fast-paced, merit-based environment. Working alongside a national tax group, you will lead high-level technical advisory, corporate planning, inbound expansion strategy, and cross-border M&A; transactions.

What You’ll Do

- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax and advisory engagements, with a primary focus on business expansions and complex transaction structuring.
- Conduct virtual intake and discovery sessions with internally referred prospects to diagnose tax requirements and map implementation plans.
- Draft and review complex tax proposals, technical memos, thin capitalization models, withholding tax assessments, and bump transaction structures.
- Work virtually with client leadership teams, legal advisors, and operational stakeholders to deliver seamlessly executed tax strategies.




- Maintain rigorous risk management standards across all remote files and client deliverables.
- Collaborate across national offices and mentor junior tax staff across multiple locations.

Qualifications

- CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA) is required.
- Full completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course.
- Proven track record in public practice corporate tax advisory in Canada.
- Knowledge of or desire to work with M&A; tax structuring, cross-border due diligence, thin cap, withholding taxes, and corporate reorganizations.
- Outstanding virtual client management skills, strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
