Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments within a rapid-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience and familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Requirements

- Must have a valid Drivers Licence
- Must be able to lift over 50lbs
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be willing to drive a 1/2 ton and a 1 ton flat deck truck to pick up and deliver shipments

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
- Load and unload freight using forklifts
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transportation and delivery
- Manage order picking processes efficiently to meet shipping deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency




- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed

Skills

- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and order picking techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Prior warehouse experience in shipping & receiving roles is highly desirable
- This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety within the warehouse

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
