As a Metal roofer, you will install, repair, and maintain metal roofing systems on construction projects. You’ll work with a team to measure roof areas, prepare surfaces, fit panels, and complete weatherproofing details. The role involves outdoor work, safe handling of materials, and physical tasks, including lifting. Your impact: careful installation helps protect buildings from weather and supports reliable project completion.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and measurements, prepare roof surfaces, and organize materials and tools.
- Cut, position, fasten, and seal metal roofing panels and components using hand tools.
- Apply caulking and other sealing materials around joints, edges, and roof features.
- Inspect completed work, address installation issues, and keep the work area orderly.
Skills
Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, apply caulking, and safely handle heavy lifting is key for completing roofing tasks accurately. Preferred: Construction experience, including carpentry or handyman work, can help you contribute effectively on site and coordinate smoothly with the roofing team.
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
