The Maintenance Electrician installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems and equipment. This hands-on role supports safe, reliable operations through careful maintenance, clear documentation, and coordination with colleagues.

Responsibilities

- Inspect electrical equipment and wiring, identify faults, and complete repairs or routine maintenance using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints and schematics to plan work, trace circuits, and verify installations, including low-voltage systems.
- Support electrical work during construction, renovation, and facility improvements; test completed work and document findings.
- Coordinate maintenance needs and repair updates with colleagues to help minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

Required: Practical electrical experience, safe use of hand tools and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics are essential for inspection, troubleshooting, and repair duties. Low-voltage knowledge supports work across wide-ranging systems. Preferred: Industrial electrician experience, construction or renovation experience, familiarity with programmable logic controllers, and handyman experience are valuable strengths for addressing a broad range of maintenance needs.

Pay: $19.38-$20.86 per hour
