Overview

The Pharmacy Assistant supports the day-to-day flow of pharmacy services by helping with medication-related tasks, communicating clearly, and contributing to attentive patient care. This role works closely with pharmacy colleagues to keep service organized and responsive.

Responsibilities

- Assist with medication-related workflows and follow established procedures for handling and documenting tasks.
- Support patient care by listening respectfully, sharing appropriate information, and directing questions to the relevant pharmacy colleague.
- Use medical terminology accurately when communicating with the team and recording information.
- Coordinate with pharmacy colleagues to help maintain an orderly workflow and timely service.

Requirements

Required: Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures are essential for supporting medication workflows, accurate records, and respectful patient interactions. Familiarity with medical terminology supports transparent communication with pharmacy colleagues. Preferred: Knowledge of Kroll, pharmacy assistant experience, patient care experience, and familiarity with medication names are valuable strengths for contributing confidently to pharmacy services.

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
