Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Concrete Finisher/Labourer to support concrete and general construction projects. This hands-on role involves preparing work areas, assisting with concrete placement and finishing, and contributing to repair, restoration, and renovation tasks.
- The successful candidate will work safely as part of a crew, follow project plans and instructions, and help maintain an organized job site.

Duties

- Prepare job sites and materials for concrete work, including measuring, setting forms, and assisting with concrete forming and rebar installation.
- Place, level, smooth, and finish concrete using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely; assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance.
- Read and follow blueprints and schematics to support accurate layout and construction.
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when qualified and authorized.
- Perform related construction tasks such as carpentry, masonry, drywall, caulking, and flooring installation.
- Support restoration and renovation work, including preparing surfaces and completing repairs.
- Help with welding or related tasks when trained and authorized.




- Move materials and equipment, including performing heavy lifting as required.
- Keep work areas clean and follow site safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous construction experience is preferred; experience in concrete finishing is an asset.
- Familiarity with concrete work, concrete forming, and rebar installation is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools are preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics is an asset.
- Experience in carpentry, masonry, restoration, renovation, drywall, caulking, or flooring installation is helpful.
- Heavy equipment operation and welding experience are considered assets; required tasks must be performed only with appropriate training and authorization.
- Ability to perform physical work, including heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
- Dependability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to secure work practices are essential.

Pay: $35.00-$40.91 per hour
