About Athens Authentic Gyros

Athens Authentic Gyros serves fresh, authentic Greek food in a friendly, quick-paced environment. We are hiring a dependable Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations at 254 Gregoire Drive in Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning and organizing ingredients

- Support cooks with basic cooking and meal assembly

- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, counters and work areas

- Store and label food correctly

- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures

- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements

- Previous kitchen, restaurant or food-preparation experience is an asset but not required

- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy kitchen





- Dependable, organized and comfortable working as part of a team

- Willing to learn food-handling and food-safety practices

- Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen duties

Job details

- Full-time: 40 hours per week

- Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour

- Work location: In person
