Job Summary

Join our team as a Dog Grooming Assistant / Groomer, with part-time to full-time scheduling. Help provide attentive grooming support and a welcoming experience for dogs and their owners. This hands-on role involves working carefully with dogs, assisting with grooming tasks, and helping maintain an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

- Assist with bathing, brushing, drying, and preparing dogs for grooming, following care instructions and handling each animal gently.
- Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Support groomers during appointments, keep tools and work areas clean, and help maintain a calm, safe environment and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Welcome customers, listen to their requests, and communicate relevant grooming details to the team.
- Help move dogs and supplies as needed, including tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Your impact: Thoughtful care and clear customer service help dogs feel comfortable and owners feel informed.

Experience

Required: Practical customer service skills, patience, careful handling, and the ability to perform duties involving heavy lifting are important for supporting dogs and completing grooming tasks safely. Preferred: Previous dog grooming, bathing, or animal-care experience is helpful, along with clear communication and a dependable, team-oriented approach.
