Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Pizza Maker/Cashier to help deliver a welcoming and efficient dining experience. This hands-on role combines pizza preparation and cooking with cashiering and customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced food service environment and takes pride in preparing orders accurately and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble pizzas and other menu items according to recipes and established procedures.
- Cook orders using kitchen equipment while monitoring food quality and preparation times.
- Take customer orders, answer menu questions, and process transactions accurately.
- Serve customers courteously and help ensure orders are complete and presented properly.
- Follow food handling and food safety practices, including proper storage, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Keep food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and the front counter clean and organized.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, and communicate when items are running low.




- Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

- Previous food service, restaurant, kitchen, or food industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, serving, or food handling is an asset.
- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn and follow training.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, attentive to detail, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn menu procedures, kitchen equipment, and point-of-sale systems.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
