Role: Intermediate DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps)
Rates: Up to $110k p/y
Location: Hybrid 3x per week in Toronto
Structure: Full time

Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Administrator with DevOps experience to support and manage our cloud infrastructure, platform services, and enterprise systems. This role will focus on implementing DevOps practices, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and supporting identity and enterprise platforms while enabling efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, cloud platforms, and identity services.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve DevOps practices to enable effective collaboration between development, operations, and security teams.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes, improving delivery speed and reliability.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and repeatable deployments across environments.
- Support development teams in implementing and maintaining Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including integration of testing and security checks within deployment pipelines.
- Administer and maintain Identity Provider (IdP) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms, including configuration of authentication flows, SSO integrations, and federation with external identity providers.
- Manage and support CRM platform administration, including system configuration, user access management, integration support, and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure and services within AWS cloud environments, ensuring availability, scalability, and adherence to security best practices.
- Monitor system performance, availability,



and operational health across cloud infrastructure and applications, and proactively troubleshoot issues using SIEM and enterprise observability platforms.
- Implement automation and system improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational technology and security standards.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in systems administration, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.

Technical Skills

- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices
- Experience administering CIAM / Identity Provider platforms
- Experience supporting CRM platforms
- Knowledge of identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect
- Experience with Linux systems and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) is an asset

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in SaaS or cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Terraform, DevOps)
