Full-Time Parts Shipper/Receiver and Delivery Driver

Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Medicine Hat is a well-established and respected automotive dealership serving the Medicine Hat community and surrounding area. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of excellence in everything we do.

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Parts Shipper/Receiver and Delivery Driver to join our Parts Department.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving of parts, as well as delivering automotive parts to local repair facilities and other designated locations. The successful candidate will provide friendly, professional service while representing our dealership in a positive manner and will assist with various duties within the Parts Department as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the day-to-day shipping and receiving of automotive parts.

- Receive incoming parts, verify quantities and part numbers, and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.

- Prepare and package parts for shipment to customers, vendors, and other locations.

- Deliver automotive parts accurately and on time to local repair facilities and other designated locations.

- Verify invoices and ensure the correct parts are delivered.

- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle.

- Follow all traffic laws and dealership safety procedures.

- Assist with stocking, organizing, housekeeping, and maintaining an orderly Parts Department.





- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, repair facilities, vendors, and other business partners.

- Drive out of town for deliveries one day per week in a dealership vehicle.

- Ensure deliveries and shipments are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 60 lbs.

- Strong time-management and organizational skills.

- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Previous automotive, parts, shipping, or receiving experience is considered an asset, but is not required.
