- Raw material inspection; interface with suppliers if required
- Enter data from Material inspection into Database
- Work from Engineered drawings using standard methods and procedures to perform conventional inspection.
- Monitor Manufacturing Orders for part runs.
- Manage Quality check list from ERP (GSS)
- Enter Manufacturing Order results in ERP (GSS) (Accepted parts, rework, and scrap)
- Prepare inspection reports of findings including Quality Corrective Review actions
- Documentation package preparation for customer orders
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication, Specifically Stainless Steel
- Previous quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Prior experience supervising quality departments, including establishing goals, best practices, schedules, priorities, staffing and training
- Knowledge in conducting route cause analysis investigations for quality department failures
- Highly skilled at ensuring that quality operations including internal/regulatory audits, investigations, regulatory document reviews, SOP’s, change control documentation (including verification and validation) are properly implemented, conducted and documented
- Self-starter at reviewing and approving deviations, and customer complaint responses
- Partnering with the Operations Manager to monitor and ensure that all customer requirements and expectations are exceeded




- Exceptional quality background in customer requirements in handling, packaging, and shipping of quality finished goods products
- Competently use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, electronic height gauges, bore gauge, micrometers, dial protractors, gage blocks, go/no go gauges to perform linear and angular dimension checks such as length, width, depth, diameter and feature control checks including perpendicularity, flatness, parallelism, concentricity and other checks in conjunction with inspection operation

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

- Degree or equivalent combined work experience and education
- Previous experience in a fast-paced Stainless-Steel manufacturing facility
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive problem solver, and ability to manage projects to completion
- Prior experience in Stainless Steel manufacturing
- 4 to 6 years of quality auditing experience a must
- Experience in supervising, leading, coaching and mentoring a team
