As our shop continues to grow, we’re adding to our front-of-house team to better support our customers and technicians. We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service experience with exceptional service and technical knowledge. Experience in dealership settings, automotive repair, or mechanic backgrounds is highly valued to effectively communicate with technicians and customers alike.
Duties
- Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle needs.
- Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, and associated costs.
- Coordinate with technicians to relay detailed customer information and ensure accurate service work.
- Provide timely updates to customers on service status.
- Schedule appointments and maintain service records.
- Prepare work orders and process payments accurately.
- Recommend additional maintenance services when appropriate.
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and customer-first mindset.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or automotive service background preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles is a strong plus for effective communication with technicians.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking.
- Ability to work with a team-oriented team.
- Computer literacy with service scheduling and invoicing tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
Hours & Schedule
- This role is scheduled during weekday shop hours (7:30am-6:00pm)
- Start and end times are flexible
- Early availability (around 7:00 AM) is considered a solid asset to support opening and daily setup
- Weekend availability is an asset during busy times, although not required.
