ob Summary
The Recreation Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and management of the Town of Waldheim’s recreation facilities. This hands-on management position oversees staff, facility operations, maintenance, programming and public service while helping ensure Town facilities are secure, well maintained, welcoming and operated efficiently.

Duties

- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of municipal recreation facilities and grounds.
- Supervise, schedule and provide direction to recreation and facility staff.
- Coordinate building, equipment and grounds maintenance and identify repair or operational needs.
- Support recreation programs, facility rentals, community events and other activities taking place at Town facilities.
- Oversee cash handling, purchasing and operational records associated with recreation facilities.
- Respond to facility users and members of the public and address operational concerns as they arise.
- Assist with budgets, planning, purchasing and the coordination of contractors and service providers.
- Ensure facilities are operated in a safe, clean and efficient manner.





Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in recreation, facility operations, maintenance, staff supervision or a related field. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Experience in a municipal, recreation, parks, golf course or similar environment would be considered an asset. A combination of relevant education, training and practical experience will be considered.

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
