Office Administrator / Inside Sales & Order Desk

Horizon Measurements | Oakville, Ontario - Full Time Position

About Us:

Horizon Measurements is looking for an organized, dependable team member to keep our office running

smoothly. In this role, you'll be the point of contact for our customers and the person who keeps orders, invoices, and accounts moving.

What You'll Do:

- Answer incoming calls, greet customers and vendors, and route inquiries
- Process customer orders from entry through shipment at the order desk
- Provide inside sales support: prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and answer product and pricing questions
- Create and send customer invoices accurately and on time
- Manage Accounts Receivable: track payments, apply cash, and follow up on past-due accounts
- Manage Accounts Payable: enter vendor bills, match them to POs, and prepare payments
- Create and track purchase orders (POs) with suppliers
- Handle general clerical work, including filing, data entry, scanning, and record keeping
- Work with our shipping, warehouse, and sales teams to keep orders on schedule

What We are looking for:





- 2+ years of experience in an office administration, order desk, or accounting support role
- Working knowledge of AR/AP, invoicing, and purchase orders
- Strong phone manner and clear written communication
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience with accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, [your system]) is a plus
- Technical, manufacturing, or distribution background is a plus
