Job Overview

The Home Renovator completes residential improvement and repair work, using construction knowledge and practical trade skills to support protected, well-finished spaces. Work may include renovations, restoration, and installation tasks across different areas of a home. Heavy lifting is sometimes required.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, and, where applicable, heavy equipment to complete renovation tasks safely.
- Perform carpentry, drywall, caulking, cabinet installation, construction painting, flooring installation, and tile laying.
- Support concrete forming and finishing, plumbing, electrical, and restoration work as project needs require.

Skills

Required: Practical construction capabilities, including blueprint reading, hand and power tool use, and the ability to carry out relevant renovation tasks with attention to detail and safe work practices. Preferred: Construction experience and familiarity with estimating, concrete forming and finishing, carpentry, drywall, caulking, schematics, heavy equipment operation, restoration, cabinet installation, painting, plumbing, flooring, tile, or electrical work.

Pay: $22.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
