Senior UI/UX Designer

Position Type: Permanent Fulltime
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON, Hybrid 3 days/week in-person
Compensation: CAD 110k-130k

A leading global financial services and technology firm is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join its Global Design group. You’ll contribute to product and strategic initiatives across the full design process, from discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, iteration, and launch. Based in Toronto, with occasional international travel, you’ll report to the Design Director and work with business stakeholders and technical teams.

What You’ll Do

- Own the UX for a new and emerging product
- Lead business workshops, map user journeys, and create service blueprints
- Deliver research-driven experiences through wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Simplify complex processes into intuitive, elegant interfaces
- Partner with design system champions to ensure UI/UX consistency
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing specifications
- Translate business problems into clear design tasks and communicate them to product owners, engineering, and end users
- Advocate for design-centred improvements and refinements
- Work iteratively with light documentation when required

What You Bring

- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Senior UX/UI Designer or similar role
- Ability to apply design principles to complex problems, from ideation to detailed design
- Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, or alternatives
- Analytical, creative, detail-oriented, and systems-minded approach




- Comfortable in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, or a similar discipline, or equivalent education and experience
