Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support within their homes or care facilities. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and maintain accurate records
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers or family members




- Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed
- Follow care plans and document services provided in accordance with agency policies
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, senior care, or home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and work schedules
