Job Title: Packaging Operator
Job Description
The Packaging Operator works in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, performing a variety of packaging, inspection, and documentation tasks to support the production of medical pills. This role focuses on accurately packaging products, maintaining strict quality standards under GMP and SOP guidelines, and ensuring all work is completed with high attention to detail while following all safety and PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
Package bottles of medical pills into boxes according to customer work orders and production requirements.
Inspect boxes and packaged products for damage, cracks, or defects, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
Perform labelling and ticketing of packaged products, following established SOPs and GMP guidelines.
Complete product sampling off the production line as required for quality control and verification.
Load finished packaged products onto carts and prepare them for further processing or shipment.
Weigh packages to confirm they meet specified weight and documentation requirements.
Document all activities throughout the entire shift, accurately completing work orders and production records.
Follow all SOP and GMP procedures at all times, maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
Essential Skills
Previous packaging experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under GMP standards.
Experience working in general labor or general production roles.
Basic computer skills to complete documentation and work orders accurately.
Ability to read and write in English to understand SOPs, GMP requirements,



and production documentation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
