The Optometric Technician is responsible for providing quality pre-testing, imaging and visual field testing to our patients in order to help our optometrist to provide better and more specialized care to our patients.
- Optometric work up / patient screening/testing, History, Visual Acuity, Instilling drops, etc.
For dispensary it can be from booking appointments, billing insurance, answering phones, receiving orders to frame adjustments to assisting patients with their frame selection etc. We are very flexible with someone’s comfort level on performing certain tasks and willing to train.
We are looking for someone with experience in optical or in the health care field but are open to provide training and education to the right candidate.
Salary will depend on previous experience, education and training.
Job Types: Part-time available; Must be available to work Saturdays
Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience
