Overview of Position:

Cobra Mechanical is seeking a Journeyman Service Plumber to install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial plumbing systems. This role involves traveling to customer sites, delivering high-quality service, communicating recommendations clearly, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

What you'll do

- Assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, drainage, heating, and mechanical systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, startup, and system diagnostics to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Communicate clearly with customers about service findings, required repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and parts usage.




- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

What you bring

- Red Seal Certification in Plumbing/Gas Fitter is required.
- Strong knowledge of all safety practices associated with the trade.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools associated with the trade.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., required safety equipment, hazards associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours.

Work Conditions

Requires travel to various locations as part of your regular duties. While most weeks will follow a standard 40-hour schedule, there may be occasions when travel is necessary, including overnight stays. On an infrequent basis, you may be required to participate in a rotation of up to 21 days on and 7 days off, depending on operational needs.
