Technology Sales & Repair Associate

Direct Cell is Hamilton’s one-stop technology destination, offering smartphones, tablets, computers, repairs, trade-ins, accessories, and more.

We’re looking for a technically minded, customer-focused individual to join our team. This is a hands-on role combining technology, sales, customer service, troubleshooting, and device repair.

No previous cell phone repair experience is required. We provide training to the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with a technical background or strong interest in technology who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and learning new skills.

What You’ll Do

- Assist customers with product, service, and technical questions.
- Recommend smartphones, computers, accessories, repairs, and other solutions.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Learn to diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices.
- Perform repairs such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and other components after training.
- Use hand tools and follow proper repair procedures.
- Test devices before and after repairs.
- Maintain accurate customer, repair, and inventory records.
- Process sales and assist with store organization and merchandising.
- Provide professional, honest, and friendly customer service.

Technical education or experience in IT, electronics, computers, or another technical field is an asset.

Previous experience in phone repair, electronics repair, IT, retail, sales, or customer service is an asset but not required.

Schedule

Full-time, in-person position.

Availability required for retail hours, including evenings and weekends:

- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
