About the Opportunity
Our client is a forward-thinking manufacturer serving heavy industry, specializing in creative tire management solutions. They are currently seeking a Hardware and Software Validation Technologist to join who will be crucial in ensuring their products perform reliably in real-world conditions, directly impacting customer satisfaction and product quality. The position offers a full-time, permanent employment with a hybrid work schedule of roughly 2-3 days/week.

As part of the team, you will own the validation and testing of sensors, hubs, power systems, software, and accessories, ensuring the company's products meet high standards of performance and durability. Your work will support the development of reliable, user-friendly solutions that stand up to challenging field conditions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Execute validation and verification testing for products to ensure performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot systems in realistic customer environments.
- Develop and run detailed test plans, procedures, and test cases.
- Identify defects, usability issues, and potential failure modes through hands-on testing.
- Reproduce and investigate field-reported issues, verifying solutions and improvements.
- Document test results, observations, and non-conformances clearly and accurately.




- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to continuously improve product quality.

What You Bring

- Strong technical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Experience testing electronic, software, or integrated hardware systems.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
- Ability to think like an end user and identify issues proactively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CAN/J1939 networks, wireless communications, sensors, or industrial equipment is an asset.
- Background in product validation, quality assurance, or reliability testing is beneficial.

Compensation
The estimated base pay rate for this position is CAD $80,000 to CAD $120,000 per year as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training. Please note that this range reflects the base pay rate only and does not include any applicable bonuses or benefits.
