The Position: We're looking for a casual, part-time Kitchen Helper/Cook for our South Surrey location. This role is excellent for someone looking for extra hours: shifts are flexible and scheduled around your availability. The pay range depends on experience; we offer an hourly rate plus average tips of approximately $3-4/hour.

Requirements:

· Previous kitchen, line cook or prep experience is an asset (we will train the right person)

· A friendly disposition and passionate work ethic

· Availability for a combination of days, evenings, and weekends (casual, as needed)

· FoodSafe or equivalent is an asset

· A great communicator and team player

Responsibilities:





· Ingredient preparation for a variety of toppings, sauces and salads

· Help cook and assemble menu items, including pizza, working with a stone-fired oven

· Wash dishes and put away clean dishes and kitchen equipment

· Receive and put away stock; help track ingredient inventory

· Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized kitchen and work station

· Help with opening and closing cleaning duties

· Work well as part of the kitchen team in a busy restaurant environment
