Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Mover to help transport household or commercial belongings safely and efficiently. You’ll work as part of a team to prepare, load, move, and unload items while providing courteous service throughout each job. This is a physically active role that requires careful handling, clear communication, and a strong commitment to safety.

Duties

- Pack, wrap, carry, load, and unload furniture, boxes, and other items.
- Secure belongings in moving vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
- Follow instructions for handling fragile, bulky, or specialty items.
- Assist with assembling and disassembling furniture as needed.
- Keep work areas, vehicles, and equipment organized and safe.
- Communicate with customers and team members about moving plans, item handling, and job progress.
- Provide qualified, respectful customer service and respond to customer questions.
- Follow safe lifting practices and use moving equipment, such as dollies and straps.




- Operate a forklift when authorized and trained, if required for the assignment.

Skills

- Experience with moving, packing, loading, and unloading is helpful.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the workday.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, customer-focused approach.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Warehouse experience, including familiarity with material-handling equipment, is beneficial.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus; operation must follow applicable training and safety requirements.
- Commercial driving experience or a relevant license is an advantage when driving duties are part of the role.
- Dependability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious attitude are essential.

Pay: $16.39-$27.57 per hour
