Position Overview
As a
Warehouse Associate , you will play a key role in supporting warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and production operations. This position requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency while operating material handling equipment and maintaining inventory flow throughout the facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and stand-up counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and rider pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and products.
Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and quality.




Supply raw materials and ingredients to production lines as required.
Move finished products into warehouse storage locations.
Conduct inventory counts and support inventory control initiatives.
Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory procedures.
Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Adhere to all company safety, food safety, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of warehouse experience
in shipping, receiving, inventory, or order picking.
Minimum
1 year of reach truck experience .
Valid forklift certification.
Ability to safely lift up to
50 lbs
on a regular basis.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a food manufacturing or food distribution environment.
Knowledge of inventory control and cycle count procedures.
Familiarity with FIFO inventory management practices.
Understanding of food safety and warehouse best practices.
WHMIS certification.




Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse setting.
Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse connected to a food manufacturing facility. You'll spend much of your day operating material handling equipment, supporting production schedules, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. The role includes movement between warehouse storage areas, cooler environments, and production support areas.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, take pride in maintaining accuracy and organization, and contribute to a positive and safety-focused workplace culture.

This is a Contract position based out of Surrey, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.84 - $24.84/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
