Every day is different in restoration. As an Asbestos Abatement Technician with Total Restoration Services Inc., you'll help make homes, businesses, and other properties safe again after disasters and environmental hazards.

What You'll Do

- Perform asbestos abatement in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations, applicable safety standards, and company procedures.
- Set up containment areas, negative air systems, and decontamination chambers.
- Safely operate specialized tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, site reports, and photographs.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, businesses, insurance adjusters, and project managers.
- Assist with mould remediation, water damage restoration, demolition, and other restoration services as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Follow established procedures for personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination, and waste handling.

What We're Looking For

- Valid BC Asbestos Abatement Certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of asbestos abatement experience is preferred.




- Strong understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations and safe work practices.
- Experience with containment systems, PPE, and specialized equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various environments.
- Valid Class 5 BC driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- IICRC certifications are considered an asset but are not required.
