We are looking for cashiers/Baristas and or Sandwich makers

Sandwich Preparation & Food Handling

- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company recipes, presentation standards, and portion guidelines.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, labeled, and rotated according to food safety standards.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and preparation.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation stations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.

Front of House & Customer Service

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Package pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and other bakery products according to company standards.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assist with restocking, organizing, and maintaining bakery displays.
- Ensure the dining area, counters, beverage stations, and customer-facing areas remain clean and presentable.
- Respond to customer questions, requests,



and concerns professionally.

General Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Follow company policies, recipes, and food safety regulations.
- Support other team members and assist in different stations when needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, sandwich making, barista work, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures accurately.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and assist across different stations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in a bakery café.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- English communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
