Full-Time Staff Pharmacist

Compensation: Starting at $55/hour and is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and the working arrangement

Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible weekday scheduling and rotating Saturdays

Start Date: As soon as reasonably possible

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions in accordance with professional standards.
- Provide medication counselling and personalized patient care.
- Administer authorized vaccinations and other permitted injections.
- Conduct minor ailment assessments, MedsChecks and other appropriate clinical pharmacy services.
- Identify, assess and resolve drug therapy problems.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians, assistants and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold applicable regulatory and professional standards.
- Contribute to a positive, organized and efficient pharmacy environment.

Required Qualifications





- Registered pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Completion of applicable OCP-approved injection training, with the required training registered with the College.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification meeting OCP requirements.
- Qualified, competent and willing to administer authorized vaccinations and injections.
- Strong patient counselling, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a pharmacy team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous community pharmacy experience.
- Experience providing MedsChecks, minor ailment assessments and other clinical pharmacy services.
- Familiarity with Propel Rx pharmacy management software.
