Collingwood Veterinary Services is a locally owned, well-established small animal veterinary hospital seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team for a maternity leave position, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.

Located in the heart of downtown Collingwood, our hospital offers high-quality veterinary medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment where teamwork, professional growth, and exceptional patient care are valued.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who is confident in medical case management and general practice surgical procedures. Comfort and experience with dental procedures and ultrasound are considered assets.

You will work alongside two highly experienced veterinarians in a supportive, collaborative environment, with the additional resources and support of a larger veterinary team through our sister hospital, Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital.

Position Details

- Three- to four-day workweek.
- Hospital hours are Monday to Friday, closing at 5 p.m.
- No weekends or on-call responsibilities.
- Adaptable compensation arrangements, including salary, hourly wage, or a locum contract, depending on what best suits your needs.
- Benefits available depending on the structure of the employment agreement.
