Flat Out Tire and Mechanical in Gull Lake, Sk is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and professional work workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine components
- Perform oil changes, and other preventative maintenance
- Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
- Explain required repairs and recommendations to customers when needed
- Maintain accurate service records
- Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Experience

- Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or technician
- Automotive Trade certification/Journey Person certification is an asset
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment




- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required, Class 1A an asset but not necessary
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to lift 50+lbs

Pay: $27.58-$54.63 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
