The Licensed Optician supports customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, combining attentive service with accurate product guidance. This role brings together optical knowledge, practical coordination, and retail service to help customers make informed choices and enjoy a smooth experience.

Responsibilities

- Discuss customers’ vision needs and preferences, explain eyewear options, and guide them through product selection.
- Take and verify measurements, assist with frame fitting and adjustments, and coordinate orders with the appropriate team.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records, using available systems and clear communication to support follow-up.
- Support retail sales through thoughtful recommendations, organized displays, and responsive service.

Requirements

Required: Practical optical knowledge, clear customer communication, attention to detail, and the ability to explain product options and maintain accurate records are essential to supporting fitting and sales duties. Preferred: Optical experience, medical terminology, laboratory experience, retail sales or sales experience, familiarity with Epic, and retail management skills can strengthen customer service and team coordination.

- Optician License (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $25.00-$34.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
