Headquartered in Montreal, Detroit and Munich, Vention helps manufacturers automate their operations in record time with the only hardware and software AI-powered platform built for the factory floor. Our technology powers over 25,000 machines across 4,000 factories across 5 continents and we have the privilege to work with a significant proportion of Fortune 500 manufacturers, from space rockets, to electrical cars, to robotics. At Vention, you’ll work alongside driven and talented people who care deeply about their craft and the impact they create. We’re a team of high achievers who grow through meaningful work, solving complex challenges, learning fast, and seeing the results of our efforts every day. We move quickly and aim high, but we do it together with care, collaboration, and respect. Our culture celebrates diverse perspectives and supports your growth through intentional development, solid leadership, and opportunities to make a real difference. What You’ll Do

You’ll own Vention’s end-to-end contract lifecycle, from intake and drafting through negotiation, approval, execution, renewal and termination. You’ll draft, review and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including sales agreements and customer terms, procurement and supplier agreements, software license and SaaS agreements, distribution and partnership agreements, private equity financing agreements and NDAs. You’ll build and continuously improve our contract templates, negotiation playbooks and clause libraries, and set up efficient approval and signature workflows so deals close faster and more consistently. You’ll manage our contract repository and contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool, tracking key obligations,

deadlines and renewals and proactively flagging risks and opportunities to the business. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Operations to support deal execution, and train teams on contracting processes and self-serve templates. You’ll advise the business on a broad range of legal matters (product liability, IP, data privacy, ESG, employment, corporate governance and compliance for our foreign subsidiaries) and coordinate disputes with outside counsel. What You Bring to the Table

Member of the Barreau du Québec, with at least 3 years of legal experience at a major law firm or in-house legal department, including a significant focus on commercial contracts. Proven experience managing a high volume of commercial agreements end-to-end, from drafting and negotiation through post-signature management. Superior analytical, negotiation and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English, with a pragmatic, business-minded approach and the ability to explain legal concepts in plain language to stakeholders at all levels. Legal experience in the United States or Germany is an asset. Experience implementing or using contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Juro or similar) is an asset. A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset,

and a drive to contribute to something meaningful.
